Services and Care
Quality and personalised care throughout every phase of the healthcare journey – from outpatient services and rehabilitation programmes to hospital stays and home care.
KOS Group Services and Care
The KOS Group is a benchmark in several medical specialties, thanks to its patient-centred approach and use of advanced technologies in its outpatient clinics, hospitals, and residential care facilities.
Our mission is to improve patients’ health and wellbeing by offering personalised medical care and specialist support.
Psychiatry
KOS offers clinical-rehabilitation programmes for mental health care, focused on individual wellbeing and psychophysical recovery.
The Group’s psychiatry division includes specialised psychiatric clinics, outpatient centres and therapeutic communities. Treatment pathways are tailored to specific disorders for patients of all ages – including children – with interventions available throughout the different stages of the illness, from acute episodes to recovery and rehabilitation.
Our specialists also offer remote support through teleconsultations, enabling those unable to travel to have protected clinical sessions and receive treatment plans quickly.
With decades of experience in mental health, KOS focuses on the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and dual diagnosis. KOS is also a national leader in the treatment of eating and nutritional disorders (EDs), with the highest number of dedicated beds in Italy.
Rehabilitation
KOS provides a wide range of hospital and home-based rehabilitation services that complement public healthcare offerings. Our extensive expertise allows us to care for individuals of all ages affected by brain injuries, neurological or neurodegenerative disorders, musculoskeletal conditions (both traumatic and chronic), rheumatological, respiratory, cardiac conditions, and developmental issues. KOS is the leading group in Italy in terms of managed cases of severe acquired brain injury.
In response to growing demand for facilities capable of addressing increasingly complex needs, KOS adopts a multidisciplinary, tech-enabled approach focused on maximising functional recovery and supporting social reintegration.
Our rehabilitation teams are supported by robotic technologies. Drawing on its experience in the field, KOS also coordinates international initiatives involving university professors and physiatrists to define innovative standards and deliver the highest scientifically recognised levels of care.
Diagnostics and Acute Care
KOS operates diagnostic centres, outpatient clinics and analysis laboratories delivering high-quality services both privately and under Italy’s national health system. Specialised teams and advanced technology ensure rapid diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
Our diagnostic services include conventional radiology, MRI, ultrasound and electromyography. Outpatient services range from cardiology to general surgery, dermatology, gynaecology and oncology.
KOS also manages the Villa dei Pini hospital in Civitanova Marche (MC), which is well integrated into the regional healthcare system and focuses on orthopaedics, oncology, and surgery.
Nursing Homes
Anni Azzurri is the KOS Group company dedicated to the care, support and rehabilitation of elderly and frail individuals with varying levels of independence.
With over 20 years of experience, it manages nursing homes and is expanding in areas such as home care, telemedicine and day centres. This growth allows it to extend its clinical expertise across the territories where it operates, with the goal of providing services to a growing number of elderly people.
RSA services include short- and long-term stays, post-hospitalisation care, and daytime attendance. Some facilities have specialised units for disabilities, cognitive disorders, vegetative states, complex neurological conditions, intensive rehabilitation and hospice care.
The Anni Azzurri home care services are designed for elderly individuals, families and caregivers who need socio-healthcare support at home. The offering also includes assisted living facilities for seniors.
KOS is also active in the social and healthcare sector in Germany, where it has operated since 2019 through the acquisition of the Charleston Group, which manages 53 facilities with 4,500 beds.
